Pop, swap, sweet!

I know it's been all blasty, prompty, memey around here lately but I have to do this Mix 'n' Match, Pop 'n' Swap (warning, links to headless dolls! But they do seem to be a good solution to the typical Polly Pocket Problem) one too (via Parent Bloggers Network):

Because that picture just needs to be shared.

It's hard to get a good look at the socks but they're red with a yellow windowpane pattern and navy trim. Of course.

My kids pick out their own clothes every day and I pretty much never make them change. I won't let them wear jeans to church or swimsuits to the grocery store, but I will let them wear whatever wackjob color/pattern combinations they come up with. I will let them wear pajamas under (sometimes over) their clothes if that's what gets them out of the door smiling. I will let my toddler boy wear a tutu with his tool-emblazoned long johns.

Choose your battles, mamas. Choose your battles.

Hey, that tutu looks familiar...

When you visit next month, remind me to show Opie the red sequined high heels.

Proud momma of a tutu wearing boy, here. And that picture of sweet? Doesn't begin to describe. Your kids are adorable! Makes me long for a soft-cheeked toddler -- almost : )

A tutu and lightsaber go with everything.

I didn't get to do this one, my kids let me pick out their clothes!!

Although there is one photo of M...but she's topless. Three-years-old, but still topless, so I wouldn't post that one.

Good luck on winning!

I love the tutu! How awesome is that? They're both adorable.

I'm completely the same way. I can't even believe some of the color/pattern combos my girls come up with, but they're happy and it's not worth the battle. I have bigger fish to fry.

That picture is so adorable.

I couldn't agree more about picking your battles which is why my daughter wears her tinkerbell costume to the grocery store.

He really needs a cowboy hat to complete the look. Or a light saber. ;-)

Ok those pics of your kiddos are the most adoreable! They made my heart all melty - which is good considering it was a rough morning.

I SO hear you on this one. My littlest thinks that a plaid shirt and plaid shorts are a great combo. I just blink a lot.

AND NO WAY did you WIN the $200 Visa gift certificate from the last blog blast. Congratulations! Have so much fun spending it - no buying underwear or fixing the car with that. I wanna see a fun post about your awesome massage or something!

Ah so true, and this is one battle that is easy to walk away from. Heck, it's not like we have to wear their fashion statements.

Tools and tulle? awesome. And she sure looks sweeter than that candy corn on her shirt.

you are the parent I LOVE. The one who lets their girl come to school with a sparkly top, a cool skirt and plaid leggings and dorothy slippers. THAT is what makes my day. you rock!
