Waking up is hard to do

Let's say, hypothetically, that a baby wakes up in the wee hours of the morning. Parent A can quiet this baby in 10-15 minutes, while seated in a comfortable armchair. If Parent B arrives on the scene, baby will demand 45 minutes or more of walking, swaying, and rocking. In the previous 15 months, Parent B has handled 95% of night wakings, due to anatomical differences and Parent A's claim that "he just doesn't like me."

So who is on the hook for this one, Parent A or Parent B?

zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

AHA! Im sorry for you but I am sooo relieved to hear someone else's husband make that ridduculous claim that 'he just doesnt like me'. Mr B pulls that with me at least once a week. (Frankly I'm starting to worry that it's true but I will never let on..)

Nice try parent A. Nice try.

I think Parent A needs to suck it up. Enough is enough.

Unfortunately, I think I'm parent B during the day and parent A at night. Or the other way around - whichever one gets no sleep and still can't calm the baby, that's me.

I vote for you, whichever one that is.

I'd have to say that honor goes to Parent A. Hypothetically, of course...

My husband used to say "She wants you." Up until recently the baby has been a mama's girl. Now she's gravitating toward daddy. Heh heh. Good luck...I say it's time for Parent A to have some one-on-one bonding time with the baby so they can become good buddies. :)
