Oh my! Can you recycle some of that for Santa? Not that I'd do that...you know.

My SIL actually came up with a spending cap last year for the grandparents so they don't outshine Santa.

Wow! That's a big haul! Good luck distributing/triaging all that loot!

Wow. Hey, thanks for surfing my archives. One of my instigations for starting the blog in the first place was that book I quoted...I couldn't bear to throw it away, but an almost 50 year old guidebook doesn't have too much utility. So I starting putting post-its in the guidebook of things to post, just to hang onto them. Glad you liked the "found writing".

Good God. Our parents have been calling each other to make sure that they aren't buying the same things for The Goon Squad and they STILL are going to end up with two little shopping carts. (It's a good thing they can't read yet because Ian is right here).

I'm not even buying them anything. It would just fill up the house even more. My husband is freaking out about all of the new toys and we haven't even opened anything yet.

Have you rented a forklift?

My Mom bought a shitload of presents for the kids. She said I could only put her name on the "from" section on ONE present. The rest were from Santa.
I can't wait to be a grandparent and spoil the grandkids!

Wow, the presents out-mass the kids!

I am all giggly about the U-Haul box. I am sure your children will spontaneously combust from all that gift goodness.
