Speaking of obnoxious

It's me, deciding to do a random-things meme by telling you about things that have annoyed me in the past few days! And cheating on the number of things too!

The woman driving her huge SUV slowly alongside her daughter, who was riding a bike on the sidewalk.

The boss's boss who called all the content on my site (at work) "meaningless bullsh!t." Yeah. The content that I'm 90% responsible for and have spent the past 7 and a half years creating.

The alumni magazine which reported: "He owns a credit-card processing company and she sits back and enjoys the luck of her birth."

The 8-year-old who informed me: "I am the smartest one in my class. And the best athlete" and then proceeded to list all of his many stunning accomplishments for 10 solid minutes.

The TV commercial which gave the world the song "Walk of No Shame." Actually, I include that because it's obnoxiously funny, not actually obnoxious.

Thanks for the tag, Mandy! If you've got something to get off your chest, well, consider yourself tagged too.

Oh, I've been in an very irritable mood lately. I may have to play along.

So many of the things on your list are just plain "WTF?"
What is wrong with people these days?

Someone actually wrote that in the alumni magazine! It made me laugh but then again if I had known the person I would have been annoyed.

No they didn't say "the luck of her birth." Arrrggghhh!!

I can't believe the boss's comment...WTH?!?!?!

I'll add one of my own since I can't address it on my own blog (although it PALES in comparison to these.) ;)

The woman who wrote me the crappy e-mail about me bringing in my children to the office (yeah like maybe THREE times a YEAR) and who could have handled it much more cordially. Beotch.

You know, there are sooo many things that bug me right now. But I'm a cranky pregnant lady so there you go.

Those are great alterations to the meme! I love the woman in her SUV... talk about lazy parenting.

Sorry about the work place incident though. Maybe spit in his coffee?

If I had to rank them, I'd say the boss's boss would be by far, the front runner. That is just f**kin' unbelievable. Oh and damn woman, I was just too lazy to get out of my SUV.

Somewhat unrelated: I assumed your boss' boss was a woman, and didn't realize it until I saw Mrs. Chicky's comment.

So? Man or woman?

It's that time of the month for me -- my list of irritations could go on for days!

OMS the second and third one---who writes those alumni magazines? Whenever my last boss's alumni magazine came in she'd buzz me to come in for a "meeting" and we'd yuk it up through the whole thing.

I've been to your site. It's not shite. That boss's boss can suckit.

Jennifer (ponderosa) -- my old boss was a woman. My new boss and his boss are both men. Clueless ones at that, obviously.

The Walk of shame. I cannot stop laughing at this. Awesomeness.

I know that wasn't the point of this and your boss is an asshole but I can't stop giggling.

Walking home this morning, I saw a mom and daughter on a bike. The mom was wearing a helmet, the daughter (perched on the rack on the back) was not. Annoying and dangerous.

Wow. That is one stunning list of horribleness.

Sorry about the boss's boss - that sucks.

SUEB0B said...

Does the boss's boss think that is constructive criticism?

Wow. Your boss' boss sounds like a lovely person [/sarcasm].

I can see why you might be looking for a new job.
