6 things Opie plans to teach his baby brother

1. How to dance

2. How to sing

3. How to quit ("You know. Like leave his job.")

4. How to DON'T play with matches

5. About stop lights, go lights, and slow down lights

6. How to play the guitar

By the way, Jo and Opie are certain their new sib is a boy. Because they have consulted the Magic 8-Ball, and not only did it say that yes, it's a boy, it also said that it's not a girl. So, totally definitive.

My kids were totally certain from the start that Baby D was a girl. Obviously they were right. My doctor even said that kids are quite often right. I guess the chances are 50/50 so that makes sense right?

Very cute that he's making plans.

Re #5 - my husband has taught it as stop, go and go faster...

Yes, I find the Magic 8-Ball to be quite reliable myself. Good plans and hooray for the (probably) boy.

#5 - and the similarities continue. CJ advises me of the same thing all the time. I have to wonder if she's not secretly studying for her driver's test.

We totally need a kiddo rock band.

Q-ster thought Swimmy would be a "little sister" to match all the books we were reading at the time - hadn't come up with a Magic 8 ball yet!

That is going to make your job so much easier.

Oh so fun to wonder what you will have. I didn't know what Andrew would be, but I swear, and I'm not just saying this because I turned out to be right, but I was certain he was going to be a boy. When he came out and they said "he's a boy", I said, "I knew it!"

Ah, the few joys of pregnancy!
