Detail of patio, bench, planter, and misc. tree. In background: fence designed to contain children + dog. All three have now demonstrated ability to escape. Next picture should rightfully be of me setting fire to a stack of $100 bills. It's a pretty fence, though, isn't it? And it keeps the soccer balls on our side of the property line.
There's the back of the house in all its orangey glory; the benches, the patio, and a bit of the new driveway. And of course, none of it would be complete without the purple Little Mermaid hippity-hop.
Happy weekend. See you Monday.

Very cool benches/planters!! I love that detail. :)
It looks great!
Very nice, lovely summer seating
I'm loving your backyard. It's huge!
Gotta love property values in Mayberry. BTW, Jeff is doing a deal with you know who and probably heading up there in the Fall. We have old work friends in the area, and autumn in lovely in that neck of the woods so I will probably tag along. Would love to see you if I do.
That looks lovely...and I do prefer that style of fence. :)
I love how the bench works into your yard. Great arcs all around. And that's a very pretty fence, too!
yum. when's the open house??
Lovely - and one of the nice things about the fence is that you can see through it. I guess that way you know when the kids/dog have escaped...
A hippity hop! That's my next Toys-R-Us purchase!
C, it's absolutely stunning. The fence, the patio, the planter, the benches.
But how does the dog get out? Can she squeeze through?
Ooh la la. Chez Mayberry is lovely. I dig that orange-y glow!
Love the backyard! Nice fence, benches and planters. Serious suburban yard envy here!
Lovely!
Lovely. But how the heck do the kids and the dog escape from that fence? You must be raising a bunch of Houdinis.
Very nice indeed! Eh, sometimes you just need form and not so much function. But it works!
That looks great. I love the house color. The house next to us is orange (more orange than yours, if possible, or mabye just lighter orange) and I love it. Bonus is that I can tell people how to get to our house by saying "it is next to the orange house."
so so so sooooo pretty.
love it. love.
I'm very impressed!
Maybe I should get my husband to work...
wow. your house and your yard are so...gorgeous. and the fence! i am a little green with envy - or possibly shame :) - over here.
the house colour...tres funky. i like it.
So when can I come over for an ice cold beverage? ;)
Love it...love the planter bench and your entire back yard. The fence is gorgeous, too. Nothing like corralling the kiddos in style!
Hey! My Way Down In Mayberry House is the EXACT same color! Amazing....
That looks so idyllic! We'll show up on your doorstep sometime. :)
Wow, what a nice backyard! I love the benches and planters! I think I might bookmark these pics so I can have dh make me some!
You're backyard is beautiful! I love the patio - I hope to someday find the money to put in a patio like that! (right now our backyard is all grass)
Ohhhh. Am drooling over your backyard! Beautiful.
I LOVE YOUR HOUSE!!! Even from the back I can tell it's my style.
(drooling)
(I hope "thou shalt not covet thy blogfriend's house" is not one of the new commandments...) ;-)
