Very cool!!

Using My Words
I just thought of another one.
Todos Santos, Baja
add one for me:
Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Cambodia.
This is a great list. I should add several of these places to my "things to do before I die" mental checklist. :-)
Thanks Jen and Z. -- I will add those new ones soon, along with any other suggestions.
That's so cool how you compiled them all together. You could start your own edition of "1,000 places to see before you die." Although you'd probably want a snappier title!
Your readers are very well-travelled!
That's a nice list - so evocative.
NYC in a blizzard - that's a good one - been there!
What a cool post! I loved seeing where everyone has been.
I commented on the other post but Blogger ate it. Mine included the entire island of Delos (ancient Greek ruins), the city of Ephesus, the cave houses and cliffs of Santorini, and - this is going to sound awful and I apologize for that - the view of Manhattan from our old apartment.
Sooo many places I'd really like to visit. Great list - see ya.
I am bummed I missed the original post... but here are the places/things that have stopped me in my tracks...
- Rocky Mountains, Colorado (but of course!)
- Grand Canyon, Arizona
- Petrified Forest, Arizona
- The Bean, Chicago (photographer's dream)
- Eastern Czech Republic (completely still eastern bloc)
- Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany
- Roman Baths, Bath, England
- Tulum ruins, Mexico
- National Holocaust Museum, DC
- Arches National Park, Utah
- South of the Border, South Carolina (just kidding!)
I am sure I will think of more as soon as I hit send.
