The no-school, no child care haiku

Flog me with a wet
muffler: I want some new snow
to cover the dirt.

Happy Presidents' Day!

It's half-term break here this week, meaning no preschool and most playgroups aren't running.

Or at least a blue sky to take the curse off.

Oh, I hear you. My son's childcare center is closed tomorrow, too.

Nice. :)

I'm just gonna go ahead and wish for some grass to cover the dirt, though. LOL

Happy President's Day!

This reminds me of the lyrics of a song someone put on a mix tape for me - "the ice in boston is muddy, and reflects no light in the day or night and I slip on it every time."
Those gray roadsides are what I need to recall when I find myself wishing for a snowier climate!

We have no school either, but I guess it's irrelevant since the kiddo was too sick today anyway. Everyone seems to be perking up though - hopefully tomorrow will be better!
