Another sunny Tuesday
My September 11 story is here. Six years seems like forever ago but I can recall every minute of that day in sharp detail. I can't let it pass without a moment of remembrance and a prayer for peace -- the peace that means "no more wars" and the peace that means grace and comfort too.

I had no idea you were there. Your post is amazing.
I didn't realize you were there either I can't even imagine what that must have been like for you. I used to live in NYC, but I moved in 2000.
I'm glad when each person shares his or her story. You're right: we all have one.

Using My Words
that was a beautiful post, and i'm glad you linked to it so i could read your story. it's strange, but yes, all of us have our own stories. i was 3,000 miles away, on the coast of california, but i have my story too.
maybe someday i'll write it.
I have been through the subway station at ground zero. When I was last in New York, a native colleague insisted on taking me by there. "It's important that people see, that they realize it was real," is what he said.
I'm saddened by both what has changed and what hasn't since then.
I loved your last sentence.
